Location: Berlin

An exceptional fulltime opportunity for talented, creative developers with a solid theoretical background.

Join a company which will provide you with a relaxed and friendly, but invigorating work environment where the focus is on quality of work, and not on rigid processes and deadlines.

You will work largely independently and report directly to the CTO.

You will be responsible for the whole range of activities when implementing a new feature. You should be able to look at a problem from the user's perspective and discuss abstract concepts with fellow developers.

Each developer is expected to be responsible for architecture, design, implementation, customer feedback and bug fixing, rather than splitting these activities between several people. In this way every developer is in control of their own work.

There are no deadlines, and no scheduled meetings. A feature is ready to be released when you are convinced that you have implemented the best possible solution.

At any time in the process, ideas, suggestions and criticism from anybody in the hierarchy is welcome and is seriously considered. Your ideas are welcome, even if they mean that we have to change a lot of code to make things better.

Leadership encourages a healthy work-life balance. Nobody is required to work at night or on weekends, and the company can support employees with a full-time company nanny. She is available for free when children are sick, or when you just feel like spending an evening out.

Additional benefits include:

  • competitive salaries
  • promotions after 1 year of employment at the company
  • relocation assistance
  • central location in Berlin
  • showers at the office, in case you do sports in between

Additional information about the position:

German language skills are NOT required for this role, fluency in English is sufficient.

This is not a remote work opportunity.

Since there is a "no meeting" policy, the leadership prefers to have all colleagues nearby during office hours, and the hours are flexible.

The company employs 50 people in total, 20 of whom are developers.

Nationalities at the company are varied, including Germany, USA, Brazil, Russia, China, South Africa, Italy, UK, etc.
